Punta Lena, the restaurant of the great, passionate chef Stefano Oliva, has a large, comfortable terrace overlooking the sea, the perfect setting for tasting the excellent fish cuisine in total relaxation. Impeccable dishes with only the very best ingredients, and always super-fresh.You can start with the tasty sardines and onions, the octopus salad, the marinated prawns or sautéd shellfish. Then there are delicious “vermicelli alla strombolana” with wild fennel, cherry tomatoes and breadcrumbs, spaghetti with tuna eggs or a delicious squid sauce, enticing gnocchi and olives, capers and sea urchins. Then there’s the choice of spada fish and sea urchin roulade and freshly-caught grilled fish. Ending with a Bronte chilled dessert with pistacchios. The service is efficient and courteous. There’s an excellent wine-list and your bill’s unlikely to come to more than 35-45 Euros, excluding drinks. Open April – end October. All credit cards accepted.
